We went on our first cruise last year aboard the Disney Wonder. We went on the four night cruise to the Bahamas, and it was fantastic! I recommend it highly. I’m going to do a mini series on our experience, covering highlights of the trip. Our cruise departed in early December, and the weather was great the whole time. Hurricane season was over and it was still plenty warm enough for our family. We had a balcony room and were able to really enjoy it. Mornings and evenings were a little cool, enough to consider wearing a long sleeve shirt, a sweatshirt or a light jacket. It was so neat to go outside onto the balcony in my robe with my room service breakfast and try and catch the sunrise each morning. Days were warm enough we could wear shorts or in my case capris, along with short sleeve shirts. It was warm enough to swim on the boat, even in December. I don’t like extreme heat or extreme cold, so in my opinion the November - December time frame is the perfect one for traveling to a warmer locale.
