No, I don’t mean what you think I mean. It’s not gas. LOL. When we added this bathroom a couple of years ago, rather than getting a regular tub I spent maybe $100 more and got a whirlpool tub. It’s a regular tub with jets in it. It’s nice for a relaxing bath and helps soreness. I don’t get to use it as often as I’d like because I just don’t have the time. Anyway. This bathroom is attached to our bedroom, which is cooler than the other rooms because we have to replace the windows. Over the last two to three weeks I noticed the bathroom was not only cold but there was a breeze, or little wind, in it at times. It took me a week to realize that it was coming from underneath my tub. See, the tub has a removable panel on the side so you have access in. The panel is attached with velcro. I don’t know what to do about this breeze, because you can’t seal off the panel. I’ve been placing a giant towel over it in the mean time to try and help keep the breeze out. The picture you see is of the gap. It isn’t as big as it looks in the picture, the camera really magnified it. Have you or anyone you know had a problem like this? How did you solve it?
There must be an opening to the outside for there to be a wind. Open the panel and look inside with a flashlight. The holes are probably where the pipes come in. Buy some expandable foam and spray around them.
