Here’s a tip for your travel documents. A popular suggestion has been to photocopy your documents, so you’d have a copy with you in case of emergency. That suggestion has since evolved to a higher level. Photocopies can fade or have poor quality and can be stolen, lost or damaged. I recently learned of a more effective method for handling documents. Scan them and email them to yourself. A scanned document is digital and of decent quality, will last much longer than a piece of paper and can be retrieved from anywhere in the world that you can access the internet. I think this is a terrific idea. What do you think?
