plastic easter eggs

Here’s a simple and affordable way to decorate the trees or bushes in your yard for Easter. Buy a few bags of plastic Easter eggs. They’re usually $1-$3, depending on how many eggs are in the bag. Make a small hole in the top of each egg. Run a piece of string through the hole, tying off into a know. You should now have something that will remind you of a Christmas ornament. Hang the eggs on the branches of your trees or bushes and you’ll have a very colorful and festive yard decoration.

personalized baseball bats

My son went up the street to see his uncle. He went downstairs to see him and they hung out for a while. They played games. When he was leaving my brother showed him a baseball bat. He asked him what was so special about this bat. He said that he went to a place where they make personalized baseball bats with anyone’s name on it. This a good idea, around here we have a lot of baseball teams that perform really well. They’d make a great Christmas gift.

grocery self checkout

My friend and I went to Stop and Shop to eat. When we found what we wanted we walked around checking out the store. We finally went to the cash register. Wanting to save time we went to the self checkout. For fun, instead of doing it in English we did it in Spanish. We found out when you do it in Spanish it starts speaking to you in Spanish, giving you directions. We couldn’t understand the directions but listened for a minute anyway. We found out that if you listen long enough after it speaks really fast and then says “checkout barcode scanner” in a weird robotic voice that’s in English. Do you have any experiences with self checkout?

Did you ever go on a trip and forget something? Medications? Sleeping pills? Socks? Lots of people do this, myself included. What I’ve found helpful is making list in the days and weeks before my trip. I add everything I need as a part of my daily routine, and then add additional items as I think of them. Then when I’m packing I cross each item off the list as I pack it. It works every time, I haven’t forgotten anything in some time.

Everyone knows to look around when they’re car shopping. You should know your car prices when you’re shopping. What many people don’t think of is looking a little out of their area. We saved many thousands of dollars buying my truck by purchasing it several hours away. Think a little out of the box if you’re car shopping. When you look around, make sure you look all around.

The only time I have spent in the Carolinas is a couple of brief rest stops on trips to Florida. I’ve never had the time to stop and see the sights there. I hear many things about the beach and vacation communities. I know a few people that annually rent out Outer Banks vacation homes. They tell me that the sights and scenery are amazing. Have you visited the Outer Banks? Tell me why you recommend or don’t recommend a trip there?

A great way to decorate in a unique way is by using special moments. Items like birth announcements and invitations, as well as souvenirs, are things that many people like to keep. Unfortunately, most of these items stay in a drawer, unappreciated. Pick up an inexpensive frame and hang them on the walls. It’ll help you remember the special moments, as well as work as a terrific inexpensive decoration.
