The holiday season is here. Actually it’s been here for a couple weeks already. I went into both Walmart and Target the week before Halloween and saw Christmas merchandise out. That’s too early! When do you think is the right time to start selling Christmas merchandise?

Over the past year the grocery stores and mass retailers in my area have taken numerous cold products and put them behind the pharmacy counter. I mean anyone can walk into certain stores and buy diet pills but they can’t buy cold medicine. I understand they don’t want to make it easy for people concocting things but sometimes people want to buy a product so they can use it as intended.

There’s lots of information available on the internet, far more than we could ever have in our homes. No matter if you’re wanting to browse the latest fashions, buy HGH, research something or just read for pleasure the internet is definitely an endless resource. For those that don’t have a computer or don’t have internet access but want or need to go on line occasionally, check your local library. Many libraries offer free or low cost internet access. Didn’t know libraries offered more than books? Many libraries also offer children’s programs and workshops as well as free and inexpensive classes. When is the last time you checked out your local library?

I prefer to shop online rather than shop in a mall. I actually really dislike malls. It’s more convenient as I don’t have to worry about finding time in my schedule to go, fighting crowds and finding parking. Nowadays you can buy almost anything online, from accessories to zippers. You can even find terrific pricing on engagement rings and other jewelry online! Pricing is often comparable or lower than that of stores. Some people object to paying shipping but it really isn’t much different than paying to put gas in your car when you drive to the mall. Do you do much shopping online?
