Did you ever go on a trip and forget something? Medications? Sleeping pills? Socks? Lots of people do this, myself included. What I’ve found helpful is making list in the days and weeks before my trip. I add everything I need as a part of my daily routine, and then add additional items as I think of them. Then when I’m packing I cross each item off the list as I pack it. It works every time, I haven’t forgotten anything in some time.
Everyone knows to look around when they’re car shopping. You should know your car prices when you’re shopping. What many people don’t think of is looking a little out of their area. We saved many thousands of dollars buying my truck by purchasing it several hours away. Think a little out of the box if you’re car shopping. When you look around, make sure you look all around.
The only time I have spent in the Carolinas is a couple of brief rest stops on trips to Florida. I’ve never had the time to stop and see the sights there. I hear many things about the beach and vacation communities. I know a few people that annually rent out Outer Banks vacation homes. They tell me that the sights and scenery are amazing. Have you visited the Outer Banks? Tell me why you recommend or don’t recommend a trip there?

A great way to decorate in a unique way is by using special moments. Items like birth announcements and invitations, as well as souvenirs, are things that many people like to keep. Unfortunately, most of these items stay in a drawer, unappreciated. Pick up an inexpensive frame and hang them on the walls. It’ll help you remember the special moments, as well as work as a terrific inexpensive decoration.

You don’t have to replace all of your furniture to get a different looking room. You can change the look of a room by replacing or repositioning your television. If you have a tube television one thing you can do is reposition it. Take it off of the piece of furniture it’s on now and put it on a different one. There are many styles of tv stands out there at all sorts of price points. Alternatively, you could upgrade to a flat panel tv, which could be placed on top of furniture or on the wall. There are nice aspects to both, so only you can decide what will work best for you and look best in your home.
