Where do you store your pet food? Many people store bags in the corner of a room, or in a pantry, laundry room, garage or closet. Not us. We store our pet food right out in the open. We got a storage feeder quite a while back and I recommend it highly. The feeder consists of a top that holds two bowls and a hollow bottom where the food is stored. To put food in the bowl just lift the top off, remove the food you need and replace the lid. Food stays dry, out of sight and away from any other animals.Where do you store your pet food?
I’m surprised by the number of people that have told me they just keep their jewelry in their dresser drawers, in little containers on top of their dresser, loose on top of the dresser or in their medicine cabinet. Folks, you risk losing or damaging your jewelry this way and you’re creating a very disorganized, cluttered look. And, if it’s out where anyone can see it you risk someone taking it. Even if you only have a few pieces of jewelry, consider getting yourself a small jewelry box. Or, if you’ve got a lot of jewelry, consider getting a jewelry armoire. I have one of these and it’s really great. It’s very functional and it looks nice. Necklaces and bracelets don’t get tangled and earrings stay in pairs. I can easily see where everything is. Mine even has a little extra room where I keep other small things I don’t want to lose like keys. Where do you keep your jewelry?

Almost every home has some type of medication in it, no matter if it’s over the counter aspiring or the best diet pills. No matter what the pill is it should be kept somewhere safe so that it isn’t taken by the wrong person. Here are five tips on storing medication.
Keep medications in their original containers.
If more than one person in your home takes medications keep each person’s medication in a ziploc or small basket with their name on it.
Check expiration dates on containers. A great time to do this is when you change your smoke alarm batteries in the spring and fall, when daylight savings time begins and ends.
Most medications should be kept cool so storing them in the bathroom is a bad idea because of the heat and humidity.
Cabinets over or near stoves, ovens and other heat generating appliances get warm so they don’t make a good place to store medications.
